amia Islami Lasania (Lasani Islamic University) is an educational project of Khair Ul Umam Foundation Pakistan. Khair ul Umam Foundation is working as an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization. The mission of this organization to become a guiding foundation and evolve the leading community for the purpose of spiritualism and eradicate social malice from the society. 

Khair ul Umam Foundation has no affiliation and ties with any regional, ethnic or political organization of Pakistan or anywhere in the world. It totally works under its defined rules and objectives for the welfare of Muslim Ummah. Khair Ul Umam Foundation is prominently attached with educational, Spiritual, Social, welfare and developmental projects, on which it has been working since 2008. The basic purpose of this foundation is to make a difference in the lives of Muslims by alleviating poverty and empowering them to improve their quality of life through literacy as the first step to development. The main focus of Khair Ul Umam Foundation is to eliminate the ignorance, illiteracy, narrowness, sectarianism, rigidness, faithlessness and social imbalances from the society. It basically promotes knowledge, creates awareness, clears the right path, facilitates the students with innovative thoughts and helps the poor. Khair Ul Umam Foundation also stresses that Muslims should be vigilant about their past, focus on present and prepare themselves for future challenges. For this purpose, the foundation organizes lecturers, seminars and training workshops round the year. It has trained masses who are actively working for the service of humanity. It neither seeks political positions nor supports any political causes or activities. In nutshell, Khair Ul Umam Foundation is dedicated to the service of humanity without any discrimination of creed, religion and political association.
Background In this region of wise people of the Sub-continent, Islam was perpetually spread by the efforts of Sufis who established monasteries where they laid the foundation of these very efforts of theirs on philanthropy, serving humanity and patronage of knowledge. Here the creature of Allah satiates the thirst for Knowledge, and fulfills their spiritual, moral and physical necessities and many educational institutions are affiliated to these monasteries. Hazrat Peer Syed Karamat Husain Shah Shaib is one of these noblest beings who is not only worried for the alarming problems faced by Muslim Ummah, but pondering over finding the solutions to these problems. Therefore, Peer Shaib ultimately reached at this conclusion that it is high time, so he established a foundation in 2008 named Khair Ul Umam Foundation. The foundation provides the platform where the youth and all the beings are not only gifted with the ornament of knowledge, but also are trained ideologically as well as morally in an atmosphere which is a fine synthesis of modern and traditional subjects.
