Darbar E Alia Lasania

Ali Pur is a small village which is situated at 17 km from district Narrowal Punjab Pakistan in west at Latitude 32°11’10.95″ N, Longitude 74°46’15.01″ E, Elevation 792 ft, Eye alt 1317 ft. This village is famous in the whole world because of saiyids who reside here. In the same connection, Hazrat peer saiyid Jama’at Ali Shah Lasani (R.A) who belongs to the Holy family of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the personality due to which Ali Pur is known in the world. Therefore, Ali Pur village becomes Ali Pur Sayyedan Sharif.

Historical Background

The inhabitation of Ali pur Sayyedan Sharif that Mughal Emperor Naseer-ud-din Humayun in 1540 A.D reached Iran being defeated by Sher Shah Suri. The king of Iran was Shah Tehmasip in those days. Humayun requested him for help to get his lost kingdom of Hindustan back but he was refused distinctly.Being dejected by Irani King,Humayun presented himself at the threshold of Hazrat syed Nizam-ud-Din (R.A) in Sheraz.Humayun requested as begger for the retrieval of his kingdom. His Highness prayed for him. The God accepted the pray and the bagger got enriched. His Highness persuaded him to ask Tehmasip for help. Humayun told about previous meeting. Now Shah Sahib said to meet again as he (Shah Tehmasip) would not refuse him now. He met again to Tehmasip. Now Tehmasip accompanied him with a number of army. On departure, Humayun met his Highness again and requested to accompany with him or a person from his descendants for blessings. His Highness accepted the request ,and history witnesses that humayun again entered Hindustan and succeeded in every fight, sooner he conquered the whole country due to the auspiciousness of saiyids. He presented a tribute to both of them. After a few months Humayun died and his son Jalal-u-din Akbar had become emperor. Syed Muhammad Saeed Noroze(R.A) married to the daughter of Syed Shamas-u-Din (R.A) who was a royal inspector and lived in Pasrur. Here he got land according to his requirement.Hence he inhabituated a village Saeed Pur that became unpopulated due to some reason.Then again populated by Hazrat Syed Ali Akbar Shah Sahib (R.A) (a 7th deseendant).Now the village named as Ali Pur after the name of Syed Ali Akbar Shah Sahib (R.A). The shrine of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Noroze (R.A) is in Khairullah fateh pur, a village at 2-3 KM in south of Ali Pur Sayyedan Sharif.

Hazrat Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah

Hazrat Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah Sahib (R.A.) was born on Friday in August 1860 in a well living family of Ali Pur. His father, Hazrat Ali Shah (R.A.) paid special heed on education since his childhood. Hazrat Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A.) preferred farming to playing. He always used to stand by his serfs.
He got his earlier education in Ali Pur Sharif. He got knowledge related to the Holy Quran, Fiqh, Mysticisms (Tasawuf) from Moulana Abdul U Rasheed (R.A). He joined the company of Khawaja Shams- U-Din, Hazrat Mirza Sikandar Baig and other Sufis in his boyhood. Afterwards, he became disciple of Hazrat Khawaja Faqeer Muhammad Chorahi (R.A.).
Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A.) strived for the proliferation of Islam. Having inspired from his teachings of Islam with courteous ways, thousands of Non-Muslims of Sub-Continent embraced Islam. His Sheikh honoured him with the title Lassni with his name which is spoken even today after his death. He performed Hajj in 1938. Later, he visited the sanctuaries of Hazrat Mujadad Alf-e- Sani (R.A), Hazrat Bu Ali Qalandar (R.A), Hazrat Bakhtiar Kaki (R.A), Hazrat Niam Ul Din Oliya (R.A) and Hazrat Mueenuddin Chisti (R.A.).

Hazrat Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A), Shah-e-Lassani never coveted for top-notch life; he believed in simplicity and promoted it for good. Shah-e-Lassani (R.A.) had impressive disposition and used to put on simple attire and preferred vegetables to sumptuous and extravagant feasts.

After an ephemeral ailment, Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A.) died while pronouncing the name of Allah at 9 O’ Clock on October 2, 1939. All the devotees and disciples’ congregated at Ali Pur Syedan to hear a bolt from the blue. Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A.) had three sons, Syed Fida Husain Shah, Syed Khadim Husain Shah and Syed Ghulam Rasool Shah (R.A.) who all died amid in the life time of Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah Sahib (R.A). Accordingly, Peer Syed Jamat Ali Shah (R.A) appointed his grandson: Syed Ali Husain Shah Sahib (R. A) as his descendant.

Hazrat Peer Syed Ali Husain Shah

Hazrat Qibla Peer Syed Ali Husain Shah Sahib R.A is minion grandson of Hazart Peer Syed Jamat Ali (R.A). He began early education from one of the middle schools in the vicinity of the Darbar-e-Aaliya. On culmination of a few classes, Molan Nabi Baksh Halwai (R.A) who is Mufsar-e-Quran started giving him classes of Daras-e-Nazami and initiated memorizing the Holy Quran on recommendation of Hazoor Shah-e-Lassani (R.A).
Education edified his heart; the yearning and the thirst of knowledge made him more inquisitive to uncover the shrouded issues and was eager to know the panacea of those particular issues. Magnanimous attitude of Hazoor-e-Shah Lassani (R.A) illuminated his heart with extra ordinary sanctifications which blessed all the beings especially his devotees.
Before death, Hazoor Kabila Alam Shah-e-Lassani (R.A) conceded consent and khilafat to Hazoor Peer Syed Ali Husain Shah, he endorsed the same authority in black and white. Consideration and affinity of Shah-e-Lassani (R.A) for Naqs-e-Lassani (R.A) was one of its sorts, and it can never be expressed and communicated in words.
Naqs-e-Lassani (R.A) believed in the simplicity and spent a simple life and preached the same simplicity to his disciples. He never wore pressed clothes. He used to wear simple shirt, thahband (dhoti) and deshi shoes (khosa) Whenever devotees came to him, with any problem or seeking guideline, he used to say, “May Allah Pak bless you.” (Allah Pak Khair Farmin), and his problem was solved. He used to serve guests and disciples himself. It was observed many times that the disciples were having dinner in the patio of Darbar-e-Alyia in scorching summer, and Hazrat Sahib (R.A) used to blow them handy fan because at that time, electricity was rare. He never preferred having lunch or dinner before guests. . His most extreme inclination was his visitors and devotees. One may not discover such illustration of uniformity anywhere.

Naqas-e-Lassani (R.A) took firm stand on Aahl-e-Sunnat-o-Jammat and urged masses to adopt and follow Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ. In this regard, he always recommended his disciples to concern learned scholars of Aahl-e-Sunnat-o-Jammat. He was completely absorbed and pragmatic in the affection regard and honour of Holy Prophet ﷺ. Adoration of Shahba had profound roots in his heart. Wali Ullah always pay especially heed towards Shariat, and his disciples who used to visit him were well aware of this aspect. He never went beyond Shariyat. Affection is actually the name of obedience, and it is the real lesson of Shariyat. Amar Bin Maroof Wa Nahi An Munkar’s duty was remarkably performed by him, even forbade people of using cigarettes, betel-leaf and other intoxicated or inebriated items.

Hazrat Peer Syed Ismail Shah

Peer Syed Ismail R.A was born on 15 March, 1955 at monastery of Darbar-e-Aliya, Ali Pur Syenda Sharif. He is grandson of Shah-e-Lassani (R.A) and beloved son of Hazrat Peer Syed Ali Husain Naqsa-e-Lassani (R.A). He stood amongst the most fortunate one since you started getting religious education: The Holy Quran and formal education from the prestigious and esteemed personality of monastery of Darbar-e-Aaliya i.e. Prof. Muhammad Husain Aasi (R.A) on the craving of Hazrat Naqs-e-Lassani (R.A). Hazoor Naqas-e-Lassani taught him Mysticism (Tasawuff) himself. He has been kind, sympathetic and simple since youth. Despite ailment, you regularly offered Thajud prayer and paid heed to the pupils and recited the Holy Quran with tasfeer (explanation) regularly. He spent most of his time in the worship of Allah, reciting Darud-e-Pak and sharing the Sunnah of Prophet ﷺ. Asar to Magrib time, he merely spent time in worship of Allah and strictly avoided any other sort of work or talk in this particular time. Indeed, he preferred restless nights in venerating Allah. Whenever he listened to Nat Sharif and addresses of Holy Prophet ﷺ, his eyes stared shedding tears. Constantly, he kept reciting Darud-e-Pak and always remained anxious to travel Madina-e-Pak in the Holy month of Ramdan. During his travel to sacred places, he strictly precluded his disciples about his introduction to others. He always asked his disciples to walk ahead that no one recognizes him. His eyes were always full of tears the moment he ventured in Masjid-e-Nabvi ﷺ. He always kept his sight lay down and kept reciting Darud-e-Pak.
Peer Syed Ismail Shah Sahib (R.A) served humanity magnificently and his service was unique and matchless. He established Aahl-e-Sunnat-o-Jammat Mosques’ designated Immams, helped orphans, arranged their marriages, assisted destitute and dowagers. He had a unique style of assisting needy beings i.e. he used to help them and said expressed profound gratitude to them with kind bearings not to impart this kindness or help to anybody. Moreover, either it was the incident of blasphemy or honour of the Holy Quran. Peer sahib took firm stand and strived on each border and urged masses to take stand against rude personalities to kill their liberation of intersection the emancipation against our noteworthy and sacred religion.

Peer Syed Ismail Shah Sahib (R.A) died on December 28, 2005 on Wednesday. His Namaz-e-Janza was offered after Zohar prayer on December 29, 2005 at monastery of Darbar-e-Aliya, Ali Pur Syeedan.

Hazrat Peer Syed Karamat Ali Husain Shah

Sahib Zaada Hafiz Mufti Peer Syed Karamat Ali Husain is the child of Hazrat Qibla Peer Syed Muhammad Ismail Shah Sahib (RA). Peer Sahib, memorized the Holy Quran in short span of time i.e, 10 months at the age of 9. Later on, he proceeded to Lahore for religious education where he not only completed Aalim course (Dars-e-nizami), but did masters as well. Meanwhile, he did specialization in jurisprudence (Takhassus-fil-fiqa).
He headed out to numerous institutions globally to seek and accomplish knowledge. He did his specialization from the esteemed and renowned institution: Jamia Naeemia, Lahore Pakistan. He spent ample time in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala and Kusoor to quench the thirst of knowledge.
He has been outstanding since his student life, and he has demonstrated his worth at numerous occasions during his studies.
His baiat is on his father, however, he got benefited profoundly from various Shaikhs, who are:
Hazrat Peer Ghulam Marshad Churahi (R.A) (Sajjada Nasheen Chura Shareef), Hazrat Qibla Peer Iftikhar Ahmad Churahi Almaroof Lala G (Chura Shareef), Romi-e-Asr Hazrat Qibla Hakeem Abdul Hayi Sialkoati. Shaikh Habib Zain Misri (Madeena Munawwara), Shaikh Syed Abdul Rahman Al Hashmi (Madina Munawwara), Syed Ahmad Al Shafi (Dubai), Al Shaikh Al Syed Al Shareef Abdul Aziz (Madina Munawwara), Shaikh Abdul Lateef Mujaddidi (Lahore).

He conducts Dars e Quran Sessions consistently on 27th of each month at Darbar-e-Aaliya Ali Pur Syedan. He never believes in orthodox school of thought; whereas, his prime goal is to promote monastery of Darbar-e-Aaliya. His welfare and social works speak conspicuously to all beings.
He is the prime focal individual in the entire region because the thirst of knowledge which has been prevailing since long is going to be quenched in his guidance. Hazrat Peer Syed Ali Husain Shah’s(R.A) and Hazrat Peer Syed Ismail Shah’s (R.A) vision of establishing a fantabulous and extra ordinary religious and formal educational institution is going to be accomplished by him.
